Compact Joint – 48f & 144f
The OAsys Compact Joint’s primary application is for jointing optical fibre
cables together at cable element level. The joint is ideal for use as a Cable Chamber Joint, Track
Joint or Spur Joint due to its capacity and compact size.

Compact Single Circuit Joint
The OAsys Compact Single Circuit Joint allows the termination of up to 96
fibres (4 fibres per tray). The joint is available with either 6 circular ports or 1 oval port and
4 circular ports.

Compact Splitter Joint
The Compact Splitter Joint houses up to four 1x8 Splitter Assemblies. This
enables cables (or blown fibre) to be installed and spliced to splitters for distribution for up to
32 customers on a single fibre per customer basis.

Standard Straight Joint
The OAsys Standard-Straight Joint is used for "easy access" applications
within the external optical fibre network or at the interface between the exchange/central office.
It allows two loose tube cables to be spliced together. The majority of optical
cable constructions can be accommodated.

Standard Loop Joint
The OAsys Standard Loop Joint allows a continuous loop of optical loose tube
elements from a cable mid section to be stored within the joint closure. This enables the breakout
of fibres for distribution via customer drop cables at a later date. The breakout of fibres is
achieved using OAsys Joint Upgrade Kits and OAsys accessories as required. |

Modular Jointing System (MJS-CP)
The Modular Jointing System (MJS-CP) is used for access applications within
the external optical network and can be used with a wide variety of cables; single or ribbon
