Riser Box
The Riser Box is designed for use within apartment blocks and mid/highrise
office blocks. The unit houses a single integral splice tray, and allows fibres from an in-line
blown fibre tube cable to be spliced to up to 12 customer drop cables. In cases where blown fibre
tube cables are to be used for the customer drops, blown fibre bulkhead tube connectors can be
fitted to the unit. This unit can be used to extract a single tube from a 7-way internal cable
ascending the riser. A 12-fibre EPFU (fibre unit) installed through this tube could feed up to 6
separate 2-fibre units into single tube internal cables for horizontal distribution. |

External Customer Splice Box
The External Customer Splice Box is designed for use on the external wall of
residential or small business premises. The unit, which houses a single splice tray, is used to
enable fibres from external cables (blown fibre or conventional) to be spliced to pigtails and fed
through the wall fabric using a 25mm diameter conduit and then connected to the optical network
unit. It can also be used as a transition point between external and internal cable, protecting the
cable through the wall fabric. |

Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) Cabinets
The Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) Cabinet range of products is designed to allow
inter-connection between external network cables and the MDU internal cable network within a
compact and secure cabinet. A variety of configurations are available for splice and/or patch
applications along with housing different passive optical splitter devices. Differently sized
cabinets allow connection capacities to be optimised dependent upon the requirement and network
design for both point to point or PON architectures. The cabinets can be configured to hold a
number of fusion (concatenated) or planar passive optical splitters (from 1x2 to 1x32) and are also
designed to be compatible with conventional internal optical cables or Sirocco blown
fibre. |

several operators on a common network inside buildings. This MMDB can be installed in the building
basement or utility cupboard. It allows one common building optical fibre (cabling from building
basement to the connection housing on the floors network) to be shared across several operators.
The MMDB has a modular designs with two different modules configurations: a Customer module to
terminate the building cable(s) feeding the premises and an operator module to terminate the
external operator network cable(s).

The FTTH Entry Kits are used to provide an ergonomic and managed cable entry
(conventional cable or blown fibre tube cable) at the customer premises. The kits contain all of
the items necessary to secure the cable to the outside wall of the building, take the cable
elements through the wall in a controlled manner and terminate them within the customer premises.
The kits can be supplied in a number of different formats, for optical cable or blown fibre tube
cable using a range of External and Internal Customer Lead-In (CLI) units. The termination box can
be supplied empty or with 1 to 4 SC/UPC or SC/APC pigtails and adapters pre-installed. |
